Operation Write Home: Sketch #27 Challenge

Ok, so I just found a wonderful group of people who use their crafting skills to create handmade cards to send to the men and women that protect our country. I think this is absolutely fan-tab-u-lous and decided that I will have a go at it, too. I don’t think that I am nearly as creative as some of these ladies (and gents?), but I enjoy scrapbooking and card-making, so I might as well put my creative juices to good use.

I had fun making my card in response to the challenge, but I thought it was a little drab… will have to try again next week. The image below is the original sketch

Birthday cards are needed year around and your colors would make such a pretty Fall birthday card. Glad you found the OWH…I have not been doing it long either and really enjoy their challenges.
