OWH: Sketch Challenge #28

So for this weeks sketch challenge I started out by weaving 1/2 inch strips of paper together to form the base of the card. I tried to keep the colors in an autumn tone, and I think the card turned out nicely. I lined the inside of the card with cardstock, as the basket weave effect would be hard to write on and by itself the card was very flimsy. I wanted to keep the card generic (use for birthday, holiday, whatever) so I simply drew a scrolling pattern and cut it with the Cricut and SCAL

Great texture, pretty cool how you made and incorporated the baket weaved piece into this card.

Wow, I can tell how much work you put into this card, especially the basket weave and drawing the scrollwork. Very pretty.
