Midweek Throwdown Challenge

This week’s midweek throwdown challenge over at OWH is a recipe challenge. We have to make a card using a die-cut, ribbon, and wet or dry embossing as the primary ingredients. The ribbon runners and Frank N. Stein were both die-cut with the Cricut and SCAL. The black and white ribbons are reversible ribbon from Hobby Lobby (I debated putting a bow on for good measure, but decided that would ultimately make the card too feminine).  I used the cuttlebug embossing folder “traffic jam” to set the background for Frank. Finally, I added brads (bolts) to the card to spunk up Mr. Stein.

(Edit: I forgot to say where Frank came from. There is a great site HERE with lots of different coloring pages. I converted the coloring page to a vector and the cut the individual pieces with SCAL)
